Kosogo Village is facing a serious water challenge. For years residents have never had an easy time accessing clean hygienic water. The rainy season is a happy season for Kosogo residents. During this time villagers harvest rainwater as much as they can. As dry season starts, trouble begins. Villagers depend mainly on ponds for water use.
Our February Impact Mission team visited this village and played with the beautiful children. It was an incredible opportunity to see first-hand the possibilities and hope that a water well will provide. Kosogo is a vibrant community with more than 150 households.
The water crisis continues to pose a danger to the health of residents. People are economically poor. Water-born disease through water challenges worsens the situation.
A properly drilled well in this village will help reduce medical costs that prolong villagers lifespans, save valuable time and youths will stay in school to define their future.
