Shikaadabu Village has a great name

Shikaadabu Village is on the coast of Kenya in Kwale County. With a population of about 1,200 people, most of the villagers are farmers and they do agriculture for cash crops and animal farming as well. Water is the main challenge in the area when the few hand-dug wells dry up during the dry season. Other than the hand-dug well, the majority get their water from a dam. The fact they share the same source with livestock means water related illness is common. Boreholes will be a safer source of water and the community will save money on medical bills and other costs associated with dirty water. The community is willing to pay for the well and enjoy clean water.

End high medical bills with clean water
