Mrima Village is situated on the south coast of Mombasa. Early this year a Village Drill marketing team visited the village and realized that there’s a big water problem in the area. With a population of about 3,000 people, many homesteads don’t have access to clean water, so they either walk for 2 km or more or use rain water for about 3 months of the year. There are a few hand dug and drilled wells but still it’s not enough for the growing population. Mrima village is in desperate need of clean water and soon the Village Drill team will be drilling.
