WHOlives is partnering with Guatemala Children’s Project to bring clean water wells to orphanages and communities in the highlands of Guatemala. Guatemala Children’s Project started as a foundation to support specific orphanages in Guatemala in 2007. They realized very quickly that there were many other needs in the areas they were serving and they had the manpower and skills to help. They now serve in the highlands of Guatemala building homes and bunk beds for impoverished indigenous communities. Some of their accomplishments include school projects such as playgrounds, kitchens and community centers. They are often in remote areas where basic needs are not available or difficult to obtain. They are bringing a Village Drill to these communities to help provide clean, abundant water. Guatemala Children’s Project seeks to help by hosting groups of volunteers for week long trips and provide a meaningful experience for anyone seeking service opportunities.
Please help us support this great organization in bringing clean water to Guatemala.
