We saw firsthand the water source for God’s Last Appeal Church at Korinda Village

Korinda Village, in the Katito center area of Kisumu County, has about 110 households. Families depend on small-scale farming and trade, with women and children spending hours daily fetching water.

The nearest sources of water is Awach River stream  at 1-2 km away and often unsafe. In dry seasons, residents must buy water from vendors at Ksh 5–15 per jerrican, which many cannot afford. The unsafe water causes frequent diarrhea, typhoid, and cholera, leading to school absences, medical costs, and lost income.

A new well would serve all residents, providing safe, reliable, and affordable water. This will cut travel distance, reduce disease, ease financial pressure, and give children and women more time for school and productive work.

Our October Impact Mission visited this community and took the walk to water with them.  It greatly impacted our lives!

We struggled to help them carry water. Please help!
