Drought means no water in Nakaseke, Uganda

Nakaseke Village community is a small village within Nakaseke Town Council in the district of South Central Uganda. With a population of about 500 individuals in the village, they were hit by a high drought, with only one borehole serving the community.  Most of the people consume unsafe spring water. A big number experience diarrhea sickness and other water-related illnesses.

Their main economic activity is based on agriculture and livestock.  They cannot maintain the cost of farming, living, and medical costs due to poor sanitation caused by lack of water.
