Namayira is a rural village in Kamuli district in the Eastern part of Uganda. This village faces several challenges like dehydration, malaria, jiggers, etc. The current population of people living in the village is over 850 households. The community depends on valley wells and one borehole as their water source.
We learned about this community through the local leaders of the village during our visits.
The community requests our support so they can enjoy clean and safe water that would save them from sicknesses due to unsafe water. Clean water would enable them to keep their bodies clean and eliminate jiggers also.
