Ack Church is located in Muyala village. The church has many congregants within the community. The church as an organization aspires to engage in many income generating activities that require water. These activities would help community members with employment, gain skills and improve livelihoods.
Access to clean sustainable water continues to derail the church and community progress. Children and women travel long distances of above 2 to 3 kilometers collecting dirty contaminated water. Not suitable for human use.
A water project through the church congregation members would help households to access clean water. This will reduce distance travelled, saving on time, and children will stay school and focus on academic learning. Community women will spend more time in other productive economic activities. Physical health will improve. Lives will be saved from killer water-borne diseases.
