In 2021 FARMSTEW, a small Christian charity with a focus on clean water, purchased their first Village Drill. The drill was shipped to Uganda where their team is hard at work making a difference for those displaced by war, famine and climate change. The Ugandan FARMSTEW team has already drilled more than a dozen clean water wells.
In 2022 FARMSTEW decided to expand their humanitarian efforts to the Philippines and one of the first decisions they made was to purchase another Village Drill. More than 3 million people in the Philippines rely on unsafe and unsustainable water sources and 7 million lack access to improved sanitation. Despite its growing economy, the Philippines faces significant challenges in terms of water and sanitation access.
WHOlives is helping FARMSTEW raise the funds needed for their purchase.
Each Village Drill can bring clean water to thousands of people each and every year. Please help us raise the funds needed to get another Village Drill out into the field.
