KARDEG is short for Kobura Ahero Resident Development Group. KARDEG is a registered group. It has a rich organized membership of close to 50. It hopes to grow the membership. The group was founded to help members engage in meaningful economic activities.
The community faces a water challenge. Water used daily is bought from close by vendors. Most of the time water bought from vendors is not trusted. Those who aren’t able to buy walk long distances of 2 to 3 Kilometers to get water. The sources of free water are unhygienic. This causes health dangers to community residents.
The community is determined, committed, and willing to solve this water challenge. The well will be drilled by the Sadia Maji team.
