Here is a great success story. The Bodo school in Kenya had no clean water on site. They relied on catching and storing rain water which often did not get them through the dry season. One of our Village Drill crews dug a well for this school in 2020. The teachers at the school and community were so excited to have water, they did not wait for the pump to be installed. They started gathering clean water while the workers were still finishing the well. This is the impact donations make in the lives of everyday people.
UPDATE SPRING 2021. WHOlives visited this beautiful school in February 2021. We found that the clean water is having a huge impact on hygiene at the school. We also found that the water is slightly too salty to be safely used for drinking. We are committed to helping this school further with a salt water filter. Please help us “finish the job” at this school.
