Over the past 44 years, CHOICE has helped lead the humanitarian charge by working alongside communities, developing local leadership, and creating opportunities for families to build stronger and more hopeful futures. Its work has never been limited to simply meeting immediate needs. CHOICE has consistently recognized the dignity, ability, and potential of the people it serves.
Through the dedication of its founders, board members, staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and community leaders, CHOICE has touched countless lives around the world. Wells have been drilled, businesses have been created, children have been educated, communities have been strengthened, and generations have been given greater opportunity.
The true impact of CHOICE cannot be measured only in projects completed or dollars raised. It can be seen in the families who gained access to clean water, the parents who were able to provide for their children, the young people who discovered new possibilities, and the communities that became stronger because someone believed in them.
As CHOICE enters this difficult chapter, we want to express our sincere gratitude and deep respect for everyone who has carried this mission forward. Bringing an organization’s operations to a close does not erase its accomplishments or diminish its legacy. The good that has been done remains. It lives on in the people, communities, leaders, and organizations that have been influenced by CHOICE’s example.
For 44 years, CHOICE Humanitarian has demonstrated that sustainable change begins by listening, partnering, and helping people create solutions for themselves. It has inspired donors to give, volunteers to serve, and humanitarian organizations around the world to think more deeply about what meaningful development should look like.
