Frances needs our help in Lutengo, Uganda

Lutengo  is semi-rural community in Nazigo, Kayunga District, Uganda. There are close to 100 families in this community.

Access to safe and clean water is such a big challenge in this community. The only available water sources in this community are surface ponds and streams. These ponds are far away in swamps and the water is very dirty.

Women and children walk very long distances, only to bring home water that will make them sick.

One of the community members got to know about the community funded well program. He approached us and requested that a borehole be drilled in his community. Our team visited the community, trained the members and collected a small down payment.

All is ready now for drilling work to start
