Mtsanga Tamu village is located south of Mombasa City, Kombani, Kwale County, in Kenya. With a population of about 950, many people do farming and other small businesses. Accessing clean water is a challenge in this village and waterborne diseases are a big challenge since people and livestock share the available sources of water in ponds. The community is willing to pay for the well through the community funded program and enjoy the benefits of clean water. Places of worship and several schools in the village will have access to clean water.
