Kibaki village is located south of Mombasa City in Mtongwe town, neighboring Kwale County. With a population of about 620, many people do farming and other small businesses.
Accessing clean water is a challenge in this village and waterborne diseases are a big challenge since people and livestock share the available sources of water in the ponds. The community is willing to pay for the well and enjoy the benefits of clean water. The repayment of the loan from WHOlives donors will roll over into the next borehole project.
