Tiwi, at Kirima Village, is situated on the south coast of Mombasa City, Kenya, and it’s one of the villages in Kwale struggling with a number of challenges.
Early this year a marketing team visited the village and realized that there was a water problem in the area. This will be the second well in the area.
With a population of about 2,600 people, many homesteads don’t have access to clean water so they either walk for about 4 km or more or use rainwater about 3 months a year. There are a few hand-dug and drilled wells, but still, it’s not enough for the growing population.
Tiwi Kirima village is in desperate need of clean water, and soon the Village Drill team will be drilling, and the community will have access to clean water and a positive, hopeful outlook on life.
The well is completed with a beautiful tank and tower. Thank you for supporting this important project!
