Kaloni community is a small local village in the eastern part of Uganda in the district of Mayuge with about 300 household and one community school.
The villagers are peasant farmers and its the main source of both income and food production.
The community is faced with lack of water due to an insufficient government water supply. There is only 1 water source for 300 households, or 1,200 people. Currently, due to lack of rain, livestock and crops are dying and the main request for this well is for both domestic use and farming.
